Windows and Glass Doors
we Brighten your Home or Business
Windows are more than functional openings. Their size, placement, orientation, frame profile and glass selection determine how natural light enters a room, how the space connects with the outdoors and how comfortable the home feels throughout the day.
At Altar Aqua, we approach windows and glass doors as part of the complete architectural design of your home. We evaluate the orientation of each room, morning and afternoon sun exposure, exterior views, privacy, ventilation, interior finishes, exterior appearance and energy-performance goals.
Our objective is to introduce beautiful natural light while supporting indoor comfort, energy efficiency and a cohesive design.
Double-Pane Windows with Low-E Glass
We offer double-pane windows with Low-E insulating glass for replacement, remodeling and new-construction projects.
A double-pane system uses two panes of glass separated by an insulating space. Depending on the selected manufacturer and product line, this space may contain argon gas to support thermal performance.
Low-E, or low-emissivity, glass has a thin, virtually invisible coating designed to help reflect heat while allowing natural light into the home.
- Reduce unwanted solar heat
- Improve indoor comfort
- Reduce heat transfer through the glass
- Help protect furniture, flooring, artwork and interior finishes from ultraviolet exposure
- Maintain natural light while improving energy performance
The appropriate glass package depends on the orientation of the window, the amount of direct sunlight it receives and the needs of the room. Windows facing strong afternoon sun may benefit from greater solar control, while other areas may prioritize visible natural light.
