She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Merchandising Management, which led to a career in the retail industry. She began as a Personal Shopper for an upscale retailer, where she discovered her passion for helping people express themselves through style and thoughtful details. She later transitioned into the corporate world as a Buyer for a major national retailer, developing a strong eye for trends, product development, merchandising, and creating collections that connected with customers.

When Cecille became a full-time mother, her priorities shifted, but her creativity remained an important part of her life. While her children were in elementary school, she began making jewelry as a creative outlet during nap times and school hours. What started as a hobby quickly grew through word of mouth, local markets, and the support of her community.

Today, that small creative practice has become Fern Home & Fashion, a woman-owned business dedicated to handcrafted jewelry inspired by nature, individuality, and the beauty found in perfectly imperfect things. Each piece is thoughtfully designed with the intention of helping the wearer feel confident, beautiful, and uniquely themselves.

Beyond jewelry design, Cecille enjoys partnering with local businesses, teaching creative workshops, and supporting the community that has supported her from the very beginning.
