Step away from the rush and reconnect with yourself through a thoughtfully curated wellness and creative experience at Altar Aqua Art Studio.
The Art of Slowing Down is designed around a simple idea: working with our hands can help quiet the mind. Through repetitive, creative movements such as crochet, we can encourage mindfulness, focus, emotional balance, and a greater sense of calm.
Hosted by Altar Aqua Studio, a creative arts space designed to inspire creativity, connection, and meaningful experiences through art.
Guided by Larisa Silveira, Mixed-Media & Fiber Artist and Art Therapy Life Coach, guests will explore beginner-friendly crochet as a restorative practice—not simply as a craft, but as an opportunity to slow down, be present, and create.
The experience also includes a personalized herbal tea ritual, mindful baking, guided meditation, a relaxing mini sound bath, soft music, meaningful conversation, and sensory experiences designed to nurture creativity and connection.
No previous crochet experience is necessary. Come as you are, slow down, create with your hands, and give yourself a few hours to reconnect with yourself and others.
